Program

Tig Notaro is an Emmy and Grammy nominated stand-up comedian, writer, radio contributor, and actor as well as a favorite on numerous talk shows, including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Ellen. Rolling Stone named her one of the "50 best stand-up comics of all time." Notaro appears in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead and Star Trek: Discovery; she wrote and starred in the groundbreaking TV show One Mississippi and just released her second HBO special Tig Notaro: Drawn. In 2021, Tig co-directed the feature film Am I OK? with wife, Stephanie Allynne, which debuted at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and will be available on HBO Max later this year. She hosts the critically acclaimed advice podcast, Don't Ask Tig as well as co-hosts the ridiculous documentary film podcast Tig and Cheryl: True Story.

Covid Policy

MASKS & PROOF OF NEGATIVE TEST OR VACCINATION REQUIRED
All audience members ages 5 and above are required to show proof of a negative professionally administered Covid-19 test (not an at home self test) OR proof of vaccination.

All attendees must also show a government-issued ID that matches the name on the negative test proof or vaccination record. Children up to age 18 may be accompanied by an adult with such identification.

Masks are required inside the theater for all patrons ages 3 and above, when not actively eating or drinking. Eating and drinking are permitted in lobby areas only and not allowed inside the seating area of the theater.

These two forms of negative COVID-19 test are acceptable:
1. Professionally administered PCR COVID-19 tests taken within 72 hours prior to the performance.
2. Professionally administered rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within 6 hours prior to the performance.

These forms of vaccination proof are acceptable:
1. A CDC designated vaccine card that has two vaccine dates for the Pfizer/Moderna vaccine or one vaccine date for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (the date of the final dose must be at least 14 days prior to the performance). All CDC and WHO approved vaccines will be accepted.
2. A photo or digital copy of the card

Current ticket holders who can’t or don't wish to show proof of negative PCR test or vaccination should contact the box office at info@performingartshouston.org or 713-227-4772.

All audience members are asked to self-screen prior to arriving to the theater. Patrons can expect a low touch environment, including e-tickets, digital programs & credit/debit card only transactions.
