School Programs
Performing Arts Houston is dedicated to enriching the lives of K-12 and college students throughout the greater Houston area and supporting creativity and high-quality instruction in the classroom. In addition to the below-listed programs, the Education & Community team offers a variety of programs to support both students and teachers.
Our signature in-school residency program, the Collaborative Arts Project, provides middle-school Fine Arts (visual art & dance) classrooms with a 10-session program using creative writing to enhance traditional Fine Arts curriculum. For more information about CAP and to bring CAP to your school or classroom, please contact us at education@performingartshouston.org or by calling 713-632-8112.
Performing Arts Houston also offers regular Teacher Workshops for Fine Arts educators, leveraging the talents of the exceptional artists that we bring to Houston, providing teachers with innovative tools and perspectives to bring into the classroom. Upcoming teacher workshops are listed below.
