Salazar Arts Internship Program
Accepting applications now for summer internships June 3-July 31, 2024
Thanks to the generosity and support of long-time board member Marisol Salazar, Performing Arts Houston will relaunch the organization’s internship program as the Salazar Arts Internship Program, a paid year-round internship.
Building on the ongoing success of Performing Arts Houston’s Summer Internships program, the Salazar Arts Internship Program will inspire the next generation of arts leaders. The goal is for each intern to learn about and earn experience in a variety of disciplines of arts administration while gaining exposure to a wider range of opportunities.
“This internship program really allows participants to explore. Interns are going to work closely with the Performing Arts Houston team, build lasting connections in the Theater District, and find their own unique path in the arts. By making this a paid internship, my hope is that students from diverse backgrounds will feel welcome to apply.”
—Marisol Salazar
