Where can I find my e-tickets?

You can access your e-tickets at any time by logging into your account or searching your email for boxoffice@mail.performingartshouston.org.

Just prior to the show, you’ll also receive a text link to the Performing Arts Houston Visit App, including Apple Wallet tickets.

Any version of your tickets is valid for entry.

What’s your child policy?

For family programming, all ages are welcome. Please note that tickets must be purchased for all children, regardless of age, as required by the City of Houston Fire Code.

For all other programs, children ages 4 and older may attend unless otherwise specified. Some performances may not be appropriate for younger children.

How can I learn more about accessibility?

Accessible seating is available for purchase online.

Do I need to print my tickets?

There’s no need to print your digital tickets. If you prefer to print them, that’s fine!

When should I arrive?

Please arrive to park at least one hour before the performance starts. Arriving early allows you time to park, enjoy concessions, and find your seat.

When does the venue open?

The main doors to the venue will open around one hour before the performance unless otherwise specified. Seating inside the theater opens about 30 minutes before start time.

Is there late seating?

Late seating is at the discretion of the artist and may not be available. If you arrive late, you may miss part or all of the performance.

Event staff will direct latecomers to the next available seating opportunity. Please note there are no refunds.

Where do I park?

We recommend Theater District Parking Garage, Lyric Garage, One Market Square for events at Jones Hall or the Wortham Center.

For The Hobby Center, we recommend The Hobby Center parking garage.

Parking rates and availability are not guaranteed or controlled by Performing Arts Houston.

What food options are available?

Concessions are available for purchase in the venue lobby before performances. Drinks purchased at lobby bars can be enjoyed during the performance.

What are memberships?

Memberships are a loyalty rewards program that offers benefits like priority access to buy tickets to newly added performances, discounts, free exchanges, donor benefits, and more.

  • Ticket benefits are activated the moment a membership is added to your cart.
  • If you’re already a member, you’ll see benefits apply once you’re logged in.
  • Benefits remain active for 1 year from date of purchase.
  • Membership costs are tax deductible, minus any fair market value.
  • Membership costs directly support Performing Arts Houston and its Education & Community Programs.

Yes! The arts are integral. We offer $15 Student Tickets to the select performances below. Just use promo code: STUDENT15 at checkout.

Student tickets are limited to the seating areas listed and availability is not guaranteed. Discounts cannot be applied to previous purchase or combined with any other offers. Some restrictions may apply.

Can I exchange or donate my tickets?

Yes, if you can’t attend a performance, please consider exchanging or donating your tickets.

How to exchange or donate your tickets:

  • Contact the Box Office at least 48 hours before showtime, at 713-227-4772 (MON-FRI 9 am-5 pm) or info@performingartshouston.org
  • Members can exchange tickets within the same season without paying additional fees (for tickets of equal or lesser value).
  • Non-members can exchange tickets within the same season. Exchange fees apply.
  • Group tickets cannot be cancelled or exchanged.
  • If donating, an acknowledge will be mailed within 14 business days.

All tickets are non-refundable. 

Do you offer ticket credit?

Not sure what you’d like to exchange into? You can exchange the value of your tickets into credit to be used later.

How to Redeem Credit
Ticket credit is easy to use online at any time, without having to call. If you have credit available on your account, you’ll see that amount in checkout before entering your credit card information.

New Credits
Credits expire at the end of our fiscal year for that season. Credits created in the 22/23 Season will expire on June 30, 2023. After the expiration date, unused credits will be considered donations.

What are your Health & Safety policies?

Masks or proof of vaccination are not required for 22/23 Season performances.

Please note: Health & Safety policies are at the discretion of the artist, venue, and presenter, and are subject to change.

FIREARMS
Firearms and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited at Performing Arts Houston performances.
