  • Lyric Garage (above-ground garage across from the Wortham Center and 2 blocks from Jones Hall.)
  • One Market Square Garage (above-ground garage 2 blocks from Jones Hall and the Wortham Center and across from Bravery Chef Hall)

For The Hobby Center, we recommend The Hobby Center parking garage.

Parking rates and availability are not guaranteed or determined by Performing Arts Houston.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving to park one hour before the show. It’s a good idea to use Google or Apple Maps to check traffic conditions.

When does the venue open?

Main doors open one hour before the performance, unless otherwise noted in pre-show reminder emails. Seating begins about 30 minutes before showtime.

Where can I find my digital tickets?

You can access your tickets anytime by logging into your account or searching your email for boxoffice@mail.performingartshouston.org.

Just prior to the show, you’ll also receive a text link to your tickets, including Apple Wallet tickets.

Any version is valid for entry and can be scanned directly on your phone.

What’s your bag and coat policy?

Small bags are allowed into the theater although some artists may require bag checks on entry.

Our venues can’t accommodate large bags and our venues don’t have a coatcheck (it tends to be a little warm here in Houston).

We recommend leaving large bags at your hotel. If you’d like to weatherproof your visit, all Theater District theaters are accessible from underground parking in Theater District parking garage.

What’s your child policy?

For family programs, all ages are welcome. Please note—tickets must be purchased for all attendees regardless of age, as required by the City of Houston Fire Code.

For all other programs, children ages 4 and older can attend unless otherwise specified. Some performances may not be appropriate for younger children.

How can I learn about accessibility?

Accessible seating is available for purchase online.

We offer a wide range of programming in many different venues. For the most current and complete ADA information, please contact the Box Office at 713-227-4772 or info@performingartshouston.org.

What if I’m late?

Late seating is determined by the artist. It may not be available. If you arrive late, you could miss all or part of the show.

If late seating is available, event staff will guide you.

Late seating areas might differ from your ticketed seats and there are no refunds for latecomers.

Do you offer student tickets?

A limited number of $15 Student Tickets are available for select performances. Learn more at the button below.

What performances do you present?

Each year, we present a curated (and wonder, if you don’t mind us saying) season of highly-varied performing arts experiences. You’ll see these listed with either a “Season” identifier or as being presented by Performing Arts Houston. These are full presentations where we work closely with the artists every step of the way—marketing, sales, production, press, education & community—the whole works.

We also provide ticketing support to other artists looking to perform at venues in the Theater District. You’ll see these identified as “Presented by” another organization and with a blue color theme. Please note that with these outside events, we’re facilitating ticket sales only.

What is Performing Arts Houston?

As a Houston non-profit, we bring diverse and exciting performing arts experiences to our city.

Since 1966, we’ve presented exceptional artists from around the world in every genre—music, dance, theater, speakers, and more. Along with performances, we bring many of these artists into Houston schools and communities, offering rare arts opportunities for students and lifelong learners.
