Performing Arts Houston is a a 501(c)(3) non-profit founding in 1966 connecting audiences with exceptional artists. We also create arts engagement opportunities for students and community members throughout our city.

Who do you present?

We present a wide range of artists, from many genres, from all over the world. We also present artists from our city as part of New/Now: The Houston Artist Commissioning Project.

For performances we present, we work closely with those artists and their management every step of the way—on operations, production, marketing, press, education & community, and more.

Additionally, through a partnership with Houston First Corporation, we provide Box Office support to artists performing at venues throughout the Theater District. You’ll see these events identified as “Presented by” another organization. They also have a blue color theme on our website.
